Anna P. Ford

Anna P. Ford, age 82, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on August 13, 2023. Anna was born in Kermit, West Virginia to Thomas and Cora Moore. She spent the majority of her adult life in Columbus, but the mountains of West Virginia always remained close to her heart.

Anna loved blue grass music and learned to play a few tunes on her mandolin. She spent over a decade participating in square dancing throughout the state, and she made most of her own costumes. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed backyard bird watching. She never met a baby or a dog that she did not love, and her genuine love for both was contagious.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Cora Moore; brother Thomas Moore; sisters, Ruby Messer, Pauline Akers and Delphia Kennedy. She is survived by her son, Michael (Julie) Harkness; her sisters, Rosa Moore and Tenna Pemberton; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
