Alberto Elizondo

Alberto Luis Elizondo, age 82, of Columbus, passed away February 10, 2017 at home. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Groveport. U.S. Air Force Veteran. He retired from DCSC in 1990 and followed that by driving for Cardinal Transportation.

Preceded in death by parents, Albertano and Isabella Elizondo, daughter Dara Jo, wife Tina and brother Pete.

Survived by wife, Barbara Harrow-Elizondo; sons, Darryl, Damon (Deana C.), David (Joni), Darin, Dominic, and Dion (Deana R.), 3 step children, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Marcus, (Pilar), Philip (Theresa)., and Ron (Debra); sister, Rosie. He enjoyed dancing, laughing, friends, and apple pie. Feeling that his faith would and could conquer anything he took advantage of every opportunity to share it with anyone who would listen or not. "At night he could be heard praying in his beautiful Spanish, por favor, por favor, El Dios, por favor". "Always knowing that his prayers would be answered in God's time he never failed to say "thank you, Lord for allowing me to carry the pain." Vaya Con Dios, Alberto, Vaya Con Dios.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 5684 Groveport Road, Groveport, Ohio 43125, Fr. John M. Reade, Celebrant.
